Hello, I’m Mel Lindsay, a registered marriage celebrant who proudly serves the vibrant areas of Northern Rivers NSW, Armidale, Tamworth, Brisbane, and Coffs Harbour. As a Celebrant with a reputation for excellence, I’m passionate about making your special occasions truly memorable. Originally a Brisbane girl, I embraced a ‘tree change’ two decades ago, and now cherish living in a laidback, friendly town nestled in the stunning Northern Tablelands of Northern NSW with my greatest joy, my 16-year-old son, Benjamin.

My journey into the world of weddings began with my career as a freelance professional Make-up Artist under the name Make-up by Mel. This path allowed me to experience the joy and excitement of weddings first-hand, sharing countless happy moments with brides and their bridal parties over the past 12 years.

I hold a deep belief in the right of every individual to experience happiness, love, respect, and acceptance. My transition from being a bridal make-up artist to a marriage celebrant felt like a natural progression, as it allowed me to express my unwavering faith in love, commitment, and family.
